Rivalry in Harmony: U-M Men’s Glee Club & MSU Singing Spartans
Rivalry takes a harmonious turn as MSU’s Singing Spartans share the stage with the U of M Men’s Glee Club for an evening of spirited choral collaboration. In this rare cross-state event, two of Michigan’s premier collegiate ensembles unite in song, celebrating the joy of music-making beyond rivalry. The program features tenor-bass repertoire that blends energy, humor, and heart—woven together with traditions from both institutions and a shared love for choral artistry.
This is the first of two concerts on UMMGC’s 2026 Winter Tour, with the second stop being on 2/1/26 at Hope College in Holland, MI.

163rd ANNUAL SPRING HILL CONCERT: IN THE RHYTHM OF LOVE
The University of Michigan Men’s Glee Club is proud to present its Spring Hill Concert, "In the Rhythm of Love." Conducted by Mark Stover, this performance will feature a diverse range of music including the world premiere of Gala Flagello's "Watch Me," a new piece commissioned by UMMGC. Additionally, the concert will feature songs in solidarity and celebration of the LGBTQ+ community, including David Conte's Elegy for Matthew in memory of Matthew Shepard on the 25th anniversary of his death.
