2024 SPRING tour: South America

This May, the University of Michigan Men’s Glee Club will be embarking on a tour across South America, with stops in Brazil, Argentina, and Peru! Over the course of almost three weeks, more than 90 Clubbers will be performing concerts, sharing cultural exchanges, and participating in workshops in vibrant cities such as Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, and Lima. On top of that, we will visit the ancient ruins of Machu Picchu and give a concert in Cusco (at an altitude of over 11,000 feet!) We are truly thrilled to finally embark on this adventure after its 2020 iteration was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This tour promises to be an unforgettable experience for our Clubbers and we look forward to sharing our music with new audiences, fostering camaraderie with our brothers in song, and participating in meaningful immersion into these wondrous parts of South America.

As you can imagine, international travel is very expensive; the expected cost of going on tour is over $6,000 per Clubber. Therefore, we are in need of your support to make this experience as financially accessible as possible, ensuring that every Clubber receives a discount of over 50% of the total cost. In order to achieve this, we have set a goal of raising $150,000. We believe we can reach that total through your help and tremendous generosity! In the spirit of friendly competition, your gift will support one of four voice part teams, so make sure you donate to your favorite section to cheer them on!
